Mckinley Knuckle

McKinley Knuckle is a 26 year old professional dancer from Toronto

Ontario Canada, who has been performing professionally all over the

world for over a decade. He started his training at the age 5, first at The

Lisa Naves Dance Company, and then at Toronto International Ballet

Theater and the Salzburg International Ballet Academy in Austria. He also

competed all over Canada and the United Stated and received many

scholarships and multiple national titles. His resume includes a wide

varietyof work including Cameron Mackintosh, Disney, Straford Festival, Todrick Hall, Family Channel, and the European tour of Art On ice.  

 

McKinley performed as a featured acrobat in the Broadway National Tour of Miss Saigon produced by the most successful theatre producer in the world Cameron Mackintosh, and choreographed by tony award winner Bob Avian. He performed on historic stages such as the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, and the Hollywood Pantages in Los Angeles. He has also worked for The Walt Disney Company since 2016 in numerous capacity’s, most recently as Dance Captain and Swing in their cruise line show “Beauty and The Beast” and in a developmental workshop for Disney’s newest show “The tale of Moana”. He was one of 3 featured male dancers in the European tour of “Art On Ice” choreographed by the world renowned Sean Cheeseman. Other credits include “Spamalot” at the Stratford Festival, “Station X” Dinner Theater Experience in Zurich Switzerland, “The Nutcracker” at Meridian Hall in Toronto, and Family Channel’s The Next Step (TV). McKinley performed with recording artist and MTV Award winner Todrick Hall.

 

McKinley has won many awards throughout his dancing career. He won his first major award at the age of 8 years old, winning the title Master Dance of Canada, and went on to compete at nationals in Las Vegas where he won 1st place in the acrobatics division against hundreds of competitors from across Canada and The United States. In 2013, McKinley competed at the American Dance Awards and placed 1st in his division, winning him the Title of Teen Male Dancer of the Year.  In 2014 McKinley and his twin brother Won Norfolk has talent and a 5000$ prize for their duet “Dreamworld”.

 

Beyond performing, Mckinley is a dedicated dance educator, having taught and choreographed for many studios across southern Ontario. He is passionate about sharing is craft with the younger generation as well as constantly bettering himself as a teacher and choreographer.
